Meet The Team

Owner & Guide
Jodi Wisler
Hi! I'm Jodi. I was raised a Christian city girl from Phoenix. I fell in love with a farmer from Indiana and then came to love the community so much. I've raised 3 kids who are all grown up and have given me 4 grandchildren to spoil. I have lived here in the surrounding area of Shipshewana for about 40 years. Now, I co-own Countryside Living Tours with my daughter in law. In my spare time, I play with my grandchildren, enjoy board/ card games with my friends, painting rocks, music and making musical devotions. One of my favorite parts about our tours is seeing and growing in relationship with our local partners. I can't wait for you to come see the place I call home!

Hailey Wisler
Hi there! My name is Hailey and I am a registered nurse turned co-owner and step-on tour guide for Countryside Living Tours; this career, business, and my team members have been the most unexpected and biggest blessing to my family and I! I have loved getting to meet and have conversations with people from all over the United States and I adore sharing this little slice of Heaven called Shipshewana. When my family and I are not busy touring or farming, we love to travel, go camping, find yummy restaurants, ride through the woods with our dog, serve at our church and spend as much time as possible playing and having fun! I love to listen to country and Christian music, window shop, treat myself to a coffee, organize, love on livestock and decorate cakes! I am incredibly thankful for all those who have toured with us & I look forward to meeting all those who will in the future!

Peyton Miller
Hey, I’m Peyton and I am a senior in high school in the Class of 2027 and am excited to share my love for the Shipshewana community. Outside of work, you can usually find me playing soccer, running track, spending time with friends and family, or enjoying a good iced latte. I love bright, fun colors, flowers, and all things cheerful. I enjoy attending youth group and helping with Sunday school at my church, where I love being involved in my community and spending time with others. I am a big fan of Christian music, although I also enjoy pop and a little bit of country, with “Come What May” by We Are Messengers being one of my favorite songs. Two Bible verses that are especially meaningful to me are Matthew 5:16 and Matthew 6:34, and I try to carry their messages with me each day. Some of my favorite Quotes are, “Be where your feet are” along with, “Let your smile change the world; don’t let the world change your smile”. I like meeting new people, sharing stories, and helping visitors experience the history, charm, and friendly spirit of Shipshewana!

Hello! I'm just a girl who loves God and loves people. My husband and I have enjoyed many adventures during our almost 30 years together. We have a dog, a turkey, and a small flock of chickens. I love spending time with family and friends, playing games, traveling, and spending time admiring God's amazing creation. When I am not teaching at Glen Oaks Community College, I can be found hanging out with teens at Youth for Christ or performing ultrasounds at Sturgis Pregnancy and Family Resource Center. I can't wait to show you around my hometown!

Tour Guide
Maria Zimmerman
Hi! I’m Maria, and I live on a family farm in northern Indiana. I’ve discovered how much I enjoy meeting people from all over the country and sharing the place I’ve called home for so many years, so I became a tour guide! I love helping visitors experience the history, culture, and beauty of our Amish community through the eyes of a local. I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, and enjoying the outdoors. I believe some of the best memories are made by exploring new places and connecting with new people. One of my favorite quotes is, “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone,” and becoming a tour guide has certainly proven that to be true!
